Exporting for your accountant

Invoices → Export gives you four options:

• Spreadsheet (CSV) — every column, for a general ledger or your own analysis
• Tally — sales vouchers, dated the way Tally expects
• Zoho Books — the invoice import format
• QuickBooks — the invoice import format

The export mirrors whatever filter you have on screen, so exporting only paid invoices is a matter of filtering first.

Every row carries both the invoice's own currency and the amount converted into your home currency using the rate recorded at issue. Your accountant gets a figure they can post, and the original document stays identifiable.

If an invoice was issued before we started recording exchange rates, the converted column is left blank rather than guessed at. A blank cell is a question worth asking; a wrong number is not.

You can bound the export by issue date — a fiscal year, a quarter, or whatever period your accountant asked for.
