Getting started
Send your first invoice
From a blank account to an invoice in your client's inbox, in about two minutes.
1. Invite your client
You can only invoice clients you have a working relationship with. This is deliberate — it stops anyone sending a branded invoice from our infrastructure to someone else's client.
Go to Clients → Invite, and enter their name and email. They get a link to accept. Once they do, they appear in your client list and you can invoice them.
On the free plan you can work with one client. Upgrading to Pro removes that limit.
2. Create the invoice
Invoices → New Invoice. Pick the client, add your line items, and set a due date.
The amount on each line is calculated from quantity × rate on our side, not in your browser — so what the client sees is always what the arithmetic says.
Your invoice number is allocated automatically from your own sequence. It starts at 0001 and has no gaps, which is what an accountant expects from an issuer.
3. Send it
Pressing Send emails the client a copy with a payment link. They do not need an account to open it or to pay.
You will be notified when they open the link, and again when they pay.
What happens if they don't pay
Automatic reminders start three days before the due date and continue at intervals afterwards. They are written to sound like a professional following up, not a collections agency, and they stop after five messages.
You can see where every invoice stands from the Invoices list.
